During the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Snoezelen room , Mr. Nadav Chen , CEO of Laniado Hospital , remarked: "This room is incredible news for parents and families of children with autism and special needs. Our investment, alongside the Ministry of Health, ALUT, Teva and Tel Aviv University, underscores the national important of this project. Our singular goal is to provide the highest standard of medical and nursing care to these children, with maximum consideration for their unique needs. Yashar Koach (kudos) to everyone involved in making this happen. My deepest thanks and appreciation to everyone involved in making this happen!"

Department at Laniado , stated: "We realized that one of the most critical needs in our department was the ability to reach every child — including

those who struggle with communication or regulation, and those for whom the hospital experience is overwhelming and distressing. Transitioning to an accessible Emergency Department forced us to find flexibility within a rigid system even during emergencies, and to place the patient and their family at the center - which includes embracing parents as part of the care team. We have created an inclusive and empowering dialogue for families and staff."

Unveiling of the Plaque
